"The inspiration for this performance is primarily based on my admiration for Japanese ambient works. I recently came into contact with an extremely talented classical pianist originating from Iwaki Fukushima (Japan) Nami Morita from which we collaborated for this piece. We commenced our session with Nami recording her improvisations in midi, then I imported those midi recordings into my DAW where I later edited and manipulated those notes and chords through various synthesizers for a final result. The performance is called “Land Of The Rising Sunʼ” and will be debuted at the festival for the first time." - Vito Lucente.
